Soil and Forage Testing Program

Never had your soil tested?

A soil test lets you know how much lime and fertilizer to add to the soil.

For a nominal fee, the Conservation Specialist will sample your soils using a soil probe.  Your composit soil samples will be dried and crushed, removing rocks and plant materials as well.  They are then sent to a certified laboratory for analysis.  Upon receiving the information from the laboratory, a personalized plan will be constructed based on your personal results. 

How good is your hay or pasture field?

Forage testing is also available to farmers in the area.
